NEIL Machin has dropped a massive hint that he is set to stay at Sheffield.

The Tigers co-owner travels to Coventry next week for the British Speedway AGM when he hopes to see the points limit set at a level which means he can keep the bulk of last season's team.

Said Machin: "There are things happening which mean I'll remain at Owlerton, although if someone comes along with the right offer then that could change everything.

"But I want to be able to sell the sport to potential new supporters and it's difficult when I have to lose riders."
