SHEFFIELD Speedway are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Colin North from Teng Tools.

Colin was a big supporter of British Speedway and backed several events at Owlerton, most recently the Championship Riders’ Individual.

Tigers co-promoter Julie Reading said: “I am devastated by this news, I was only with him at the BSPA awards dinner on Friday and he was always such a lovely man.

“Here at Sheffield we will miss him, as will many people throughout the sport.”
