TIGERS MAKE DOUBLE CHANGE

Sunday August 12, 2018
SHEFFIELD have signed two exciting prospects for the remainder of the season.

20-year-old Brit Connor Mountain and 19-year-old Dane Kasper Andersen are the two incoming riders with Lasse Bjerre and Joe Lawlor making way.

Mountain has top flight experience with Leicester and also showed his liking for the Owlerton circuit winning the Top Gun individual earlier this season.

Meanwhile Andersen has spent time with King’s Lynn during this year’s Premiership.

The club are excited to be working with the two new signings and have insisted that outgoing Lawlor is still a part of their future plans.

Tigers co-promoter Julie Reading said: “We want to keep Joe as a part of the group so that he can pick up plenty along the way.

“He’s still going to be at the meetings, mucking in and helping the rest of the riders back in the pits.

“Joe is a Sheffield asset who is progressing nicely, and he remains a part of our future plans.

“Meanwhile we’re delighted to welcome both Kasper and Connor to the club. They both arrive with plenty of potential and this is an excellent opportunity for them to show what they can do at this level.

“After a tough few weeks, we’re focusing on the future now and we’re determined to finish the season on a positive note.”

The duo will make their debut when the Tigers host Newcastle at Owlerton this Thursday (August 16, 7.30).
