SHEFFIELD boss Simon Stead insists working together can see the Tigers get back to winning ways when Redcar visit Owlerton on Thursday (7.30).

The Steel City side have fallen to hefty defeats in their previous two home fixtures, leaving them with plenty to do in their remaining Championship fixtures.

Three of those come in consecutive days with away clashes at Redcar and Workington on Friday and Saturday respectively following Thursday’s head-to-head at Owlerton.

And Stead is keen to see plenty of togetherness over the next few days.

“We’ve talked with the lads about the last two performances and they know what they need to do and what is expected,” he said.

“We’re nowhere near as bad as our last two results may suggest to some though – but we know they weren’t good enough.

“What we have to do now is work together as one big group to get back to winning ways and get things back on a positive note.”

Kids 15 and under will be admitted free of charge and will also receive a free ice cream.
