TIGERS GET THE NOD FOR FOURS

TIGERS have been handed a massive boost with comfirmation of their entry into the prestigious Premier League Fours Championship.

The Owlerton side will head to Peterborough's East of England Showground for the prestigious event on Sunday, May 13.

And it will bring back memories of two previous title wins at the Alwalton venue, the first of which was in 1999 when current skipper Andre Compton played a major part.

Tigers will replace Redcar who are without former world champion Gary Havelock through injury. The action starts at 2pm with a parade at 1.45 and the event features 32 races, including the two semi-finals and the final itself. Gates open at 11am.
