REDCAR V TIGERS - PREVIEW

Friday June 03, 2011
SHEFFIELD Tigers look to continue their powerful surge up the Premier League table when they head to Redcar tonight (7.30).

The Sheffield Window Centre-backed side enjoyed a comfortable win over the Bears at Owlerton last night and are looking to complete a quickfire double.

Boss Eric Boocock said: “I’m pleased with the way we’re going. We have a team full of riders who always give their best and, whether the lads are out in front or at the back, as long as the supporters can see they are trying that’s all we can ask.”

Tigers will be without Josh Auty who is on his way to Slovenia for a World Under-21 qualifier and his place will be taken by former Sheffield favourite Josef ‘Pepe’ Franc as a guest from Berwick.

And they will again use the rider replacement facility for the injured Emiliano Sanchez.
