SHEFFIELD Tigers head to South Wales to face a revamped Newport on Saturday (7pm).
Eric Boocock’s men are back in league action for the first time in almost three-weeks and are looking to add to the five points already picked up on the road.
Big winter signing Shane Parker is hoping to see the team continue their steady run of form.
He said: “I’m really enjoying my time with Sheffield and hopefully we can win a trophy this season.
“Newport will be tough because they’ve got some good riders in their team, Doylie (Jason Doyle) has been going great so we’ll need to be watching him closely.”
Newport had home debuts to Jason Doyle and Justin Sedgmen and they also include former Tigers favourite Kyle Legault.
The sides have already met at Owlerton this season when Sheffield ran out winners 56-35.
