NEWCASTLE V TIGERS - PREVIEW

Sunday May 01, 2011
SHEFFIELD head to Newcastle tonight in the quest for more Premier League points (6.30pm).

The Tigers travel to Tyneside hoping to make it three victories in four days. They defeated Glasgow at Owlerton on Thursday and then came out victorious in a dramatic last heat decider at Plymouth on Friday evening.

These results have moved them up into fourth place in the Premier League table.

Team news sees the Diamonds draft in Kevin Doolan as guest replacement for their injured number 1 Mark Lemon. The Australian is sidelined after breaking his collarbone in last week’s live televised match against Glasgow.

Sheffield head north with their usual seven who are all reported to be fully-fit.

NEWCASTLE: Kevin Doolan, Derek Sneddon, Claes Nedermark, Stuart Robson, Matej Ferjan, Kyle Newman, Richie Worrall

SHEFFIELD: Ricky Ashworth, Emiliano Sanchez, Josh Auty, Hugh Skidmore, Shane Parker, Simon Lambert, Ashley Birks.
