AUTY MAKES WORLD U21 PROGRESS

SHEFFIELD’S Josh Auty is through to the World Under-21 Championship semi-finals after winning his qualifying round at Herxheim, Germany on Sunday.

The Tiger beat Poole’s Swedish sensation Dennis Andersson in a run-off after both riders had tied on 14-points from their five rides.

Fellow Brit Jerran Hart also booked his place in the next round with a 10-point haul and Kyle Newman will be reserve after losing a race-off for the last qualifying spot to Slovenian Necj Malasic.
