SHEFFIELD Tigers have confirmed the signing of Ricky Ashworth who is set to complete a decade with the club.

Ashworth, who won the Premier League Pairs title with Josh Auty on a memorable night last July, is the fifth of the seven riders in place for the 2011 season.

He joins Hugh Skidmore, Josh Auty, Emiliano Sanchez and Simon Lambert for the Sheffield Window Centre-backed side.

Club owner Neil Machin said: "Ricky has been a talisman for this club down the years and he is a solid performer, one of the best at this level, and I feel sure he can challenge for top spot in the league averages again."
