Saturday October 09, 2010
SHEFFIELD Tigers complete their regular league programme with a trip to Glasgow on Sunday.

The Owlerton side are looking to maintain their good run of form ahead of their play-off final at Owlertn next Thursday.

Craig Branney has been called in to ride as a guest replacement for injured skipper Paul Cooper at reserve and they will again utilise the rider replacement facility for the suspended Josef Franc.

Glasgow are once again without the injured Joe Screen who has admitted defeat in his bid to return from injury – and Jake Anderson is unavailable at reserve as he is riding for his National League club, Dudley Heathens.

Skipper Ricky Ashworth said: “We’re looking forward to going up to Glasgow and putting on a good performance, we certainly feel we have what it takes to win up there.

“We’re a good team and everyone is confident after the win over Edinburgh. We’ve got the final coming up on Thursday against Newcastle or Birmingham and we would love to keep our good form going into that meeting.”
