SHEFFIELD Speedway would like to offer our sincere condolences to the family of former Belle Vue promoter John Perrin.

John has sadly passed away at the age of 68 and we remember with affection what a lively character he was.

He was most passionate about his beloved Belle Vue and was also a very proud family man. The news of his passing is indeed a sad day for the sport.
