SHEFFIELD Tigers have announced some fixture changes.

The Sheffield Window Centre-backed side will now face Redcar Bears at Owlerton on Thursday week, May 27, after the Teesside men agreed to fill a blank in the Tigers calendar.

That means the original date for the fixture, Sunday June 6, will now not take place and Sheffield have also agreed to go to Redcar on Friday, May 28 instead of the original August 27 date.

Sheffield co-promoter David Hoggart said: "We would like to thank all parties for their co-operation and hope supporters are not inconvenienced by these necessary changes. It means we have a home meeting next week when at one stage it looked like a week off!"
