TIGERS TRIO IN FINAL QUEST

SHEFFIELD Tigers will have three riders in Thursday's mouthwatering British Speedway Semi-Final at Owlerton Stadium (7.45).

Teenager Josh Auty has been handed a place in the powerful line-up because Stoke skipper Jason Bunyan is still sidelined with injury.

Auty joins fellow Sheffield Window Centre-backed riders Ricky Ashworth and Richard Hall in a meeting which also features Grand Prix star Tai Woffinden and top Elite League ace Scott Nicholls.

The top eight riders will progress into the British Final at Wolves on Monday, June 14.

Sheffield co-promoter David Hoggart said: "Josh was delighted when we told him he is in for such a big meeting and it could be just the chance he needs to kick-start his season both for us and for himself."

Admission prices are £15 adults, £12 over 65s, under 16s £5 and under 12's producing the Sheffield Star / Telegraph vouchers will be admitted free.
