EDINBURGH V TIGERS - PREVIEW

Thursday April 29, 2010
FRUSTRATED Sheffield Tigers look to get back in business on Friday night when they go to Edinburgh on Premier League duty (7.30).

The Sheffield Window Centre-backed side were left kicking their heels on Thursday when their scheduled home meeting with reigning champions King's Lynn was washed out.

That means the next Owlerton action is the eagerly-awaited British Semi-Final - including Elite League superstars Scott Nicholls and Tai Woffinden - next Thursday, May 6.

Tigers head to Armadale looking to capitalise on the fact that Edinburgh lost at home to bitter rivals Glasgow last Friday.

Boss David Hoggart said: “All the boys are raring to go after the rain-off against King’s Lynn. We’d got them fired up for that one and they’ll be keen to take it out on Edinburgh.

“But they have a good side and they will be desperate to bounce back from their home defeat by Glasgow last Friday, that won’t have gone down well with the fans.”

EDINBURGH: Ryan Fisher, Jozsef Tabaka, Kevin Wolbert, Matthew Wethers, Andrew Tully, Byron Bekker, Kalle Katajisto.

SHEFFIELD: Ricky Ashworth, Hugh Skidmore, Josh Auty, Josef Franc, Richard Hall, Paul Cooper, Arlo Bugeja.
