SHEFFIELD Tigers face two Premier Trophy meetings in as many days – starting at Birmingham on Wednesday.

Eric Boocock’s men are looking to put their first points on the board after last Friday’s defeat in the Scunthorpe mud – and it’s the Scorpions who visit Owlerton on Thursday.

Tigers will be unchanged for both meetings, subject to them safely coming through the tough trip to the Second City where they face a Brummies side who have won back-to-back matches with Stoke.

Said boss Boocock: “These are two good meetings for us and obviously we want to get some points on the board as quickly as possible.

“Birmingham have made a good start but I don’t read too much into our defeat at ‘Scunny’ because of the hard conditions.”

Wednesday’s Perry Barr meeting starts at 7.45 and the Scunthorpe clash at home on Thursday gets underway at 7.45.
