SHEFFIELD skipper Ricky Ashworth insists the Premier League side can beat Elite League Belle Vue in Thursday’s season opener at Owlerton.

The Aces are sending a powerful side for the War of the Roses clash including Swedish star Peter Karlsson who won the top flight title with Wolves last year.

Said Ashworth: “I’m sure we can beat Belle Vue. It will be a great test for us and for Belle Vue and overall the fans will be the winners because it should be a good meeting.”
