BEN FUND BONANZA: THREE MORE SIGNED UP

Tuesday January 13, 2009
THREE of England’s best young riders are announced this week for the Ben Fund Bonanza at Sheffield on Sunday 29th March.

EDWARD KENNETT, BEN BARKER and DANIEL KING are all on the move for the 2009 season, but they will all be at Owlerton for the big event.

Barker was unluckily ruled out of a doubling-up role by just .04 of a point so he will boldly go Elite only with Coventry – and he has already landed Poole’s New Year Classic to suggest he is ready for the challenge.

King will be back with the Ipswich Witches in another solid Foxhall lineup.

Kennett doesn’t have a club for the new season yet as parent club Eastbourne discuss his transfer value.

The big event will be covered by GRT Media, who will be producing the meeting DVD for the benefit of the Fund. Amongst their previous productions, GRT Media raised almost £2,000 for the Garry Stead Benefit.
