HALL BACK WITH TIGERS

Wednesday December 03, 2008
SHEFFIELD Tigers have completed the signing of former favourite Richard Hall.

Hall left Owlerton for Elite League Peterborough and won the top flight title with the Panthers in 2006. He spent last season on loan to Scunthorpe.

The Sheffield Window Centre-backed side now have three signings confirmed with Hall joined by new skipper Ricky Ashworth and Aussie Joel Parsons. A further signing is expected to be completed within the next 24-hours.

"I'm looking forward to it already," said Hall. "Sheffield was my first choice and always the place I wanted to come after leaving Scunthorpe.

"I rode there a few years ago and had to move because of the averages, but I've always enjoyed riding there and I can't wait for the new season.

"Looking back I think that moving was the right thing. I went to Peterborough and that really did me a power of good because I started going a lot faster.

"The riders we already have mean the team looks good and I think that if the other plans drop in place then we'll have a team capable of doing well at the top end of the Premier League."
