TIGERS got back to winning ways in impressive style with a 55-36 win over Premier League high-flyers Edinburgh on Thursday.

Sheffield were on top form with Ben Wilson unbeaten by an opponent all night while top guns Andre Compton and Ricky Ashworth were both in peak form with 13 and 12 points respectively.

Said team manger Eric Boocock: "We needed a good result after last week's disappointment.

"The riders responded superbly and it was a terrific result against a side tipped by many to be league champions.

"Now we have to build on this display and if we can keep up this momentum we have every chance of being up there at the end of the season."
