BIG MATCH PREVIEW

Wednesday June 11, 2008
SHEFFIELD Tigers hand a full debut to teenager Kyle Hughes in Thursday night’s mouthwatering Premier League clash with fellow title hopefuls Edinburgh at Owlerton (7.45pm).

Eric Boocock’s men are hoping to hit back from the disappointment of their Premier Trophy exit at the hands of Birmingham last week to get their season back on track.

Hughes replaces Sam Martin at reserve after impressing during his two guest appearances during those two meetings last week.

Edinburgh, meanwhile, are enjoying a stunning run of results which have propelled them up the league table and many experts are backing them to go all the way.

Sheffield owner Neil Machin said: “This is a massive meeting for us and the riders know we’re not happy with their performances last week.

“Now is the chance to put things right against a very strong Edinburgh side. I expect a great meeting.”

TIGERS: Ricky Ashworth, Joel Parsons, Andre Compton, Paul Cooper, Ben Wilson, Kyle Hughes, Lee Smethills.
EDINBURGH: William Lawson, Ryan Fisher, Derek Sneddon, Thomas H Jonasson, Matthew Wethers, Andrew Tully, Aaron Summers.
