POSITIVE VIBES FOR PICKO

Friday March 29, 2024
JOSH Pickering insists there are plenty of positive vibes in the Sheffield camp ahead of their Knockout Cup Quarter-Final against Belle Vue.

The Tru7 Group Tigers head to Manchester on Easter Monday (April 1, 12 noon) before hosting the Aces at Owlerton next Thursday (April 4, 7.30).

The South Yorkshire side needed a Super Heat to claim the two league points at Rowe Motor Oil Premiership newcomers Birmingham on Monday.

But the Aussie says it was the way they fought back from a ten point deficit which has boosted the morale of the reigning Champions.

“Birmingham are a strong outfit,” Pickering said.

“They’ve got some track specialists in my opinion, they’ve got some gaters and they’ve got some people who go out there and give it everything.

“We got to ten down and a few of the boys were just trying to work out the set-up; it’s a crucial thing around Birmingham and the Brummies got off to a very good start.

“But we showed our class and finished on top, it’s all positive vibes.

“We’re all having fun, it’s smiles on our faces and we can’t wait to get back out there.”

Admission for the home leg of the cup tie against Belle Vue is £23 adults, £21 concessions (over 65s and students - both with evidence), £1 kids (up to and including age 17) whilst all under-5s are admitted free of charge.

Supporters are reminded that Season Tickets are NOT valid for cup fixtures - however, anyone wishing to still renew their’s ahead of the first home league fixture against King’s Lynn on Thursday, April 18 can do so at the Speedway Office this Thursday.
