EVERYONE at Sheffield Speedway was saddened to learn of the sudden passing of supporter Chris White earlier this week.

Tru Plant Tigers team boss Simon Stead: "Chris was one of the long-standing Sheffield Supporters who travelled the length and breadth of the country to watch Sheffield week in, week out with his son John.

"He loved his Speedway, he was a big, big help to me at various points throughout my career and we always stopped to have a quick chat after every meeting at Owlerton.

"Chris will be dearly missed and this is very sad news indeed."

Sheffield Speedway would like to send our condolences to Alison, John and Michelle along with all of Chris' family and friends.
