SHEFFIELD have moved a step closer towards finalising their 2007 Premier League team with the signing of Joel Parsons.

Parsons, a Sheffield asset after the club bought all the former Hull riders, won the treble with the Vikings in 2004 and raced for Newport last season.

Tigers owner Neil Machin said: “Joel’s attitude is very refreshing, he actually wants to ride for the club and he’s like a breath of fresh air.”
