RESTAURANT OPEN ON THURSDAY

Monday June 21, 2021
SHEFFIELD Speedway are delighted to confirm the stadium restaurant will re-open for this Thursday’s Premiership clash with Ipswich.

Supporters wishing to book a table should do so through Owlerton Stadium direct (0114 234 3074) but must note that these bookings should only be made by those intending to dine.

It is not possible to sit in the restaurant just to watch the meeting.

Tickets are on sale for the third and fourth turns, and fans are urged to snap them up quickly as limited numbers are available again.

If you have already booked a ticket, or are a season ticket holder, and are now intending to eat in the restaurant, please e-mail the club (office@sheffield-speedway.com) to advise us so we can keep control of numbers.

Admission for the home straight will again be available on a first-come, first-served basis on the night, but the best way to guarantee your place at Owlerton on Thursday is to book online via https://sheffieldtigerstickets.seatedly.com/ .

Sheffield co-promoter Damien Bates said: “I’m sure the restaurant has been much-missed, and we expect quite a demand for seats in there on Thursday.

“I know it’s a complicated process at the moment, but if you are booking in the restaurant please do also let the club know that you won’t be on the third and fourth turns. It’s absolutely vital that we maintain control of numbers at this time.

“It’s important to stress that you must book to eat in the restaurant – but then again, why wouldn’t you?

“It will be a good meeting on Thursday, one for us to enjoy, and as it’s only our second home match of the season we can’t wait to be back.”
