PRICE IS RIGHT FOR TIGERS FANS!

Thursday March 06, 2008
SHEFFIELD speedway bosses have handed their loyal fans a massive pre-season boost... by pegging admission prices at last year's level.

Club owner Neil Machin unveiled the price structure at a packed pre-season press and practice session at Owlerton Stadium on Thursday afternoon.

Club sponsors Sheffield Window Centre were praised for their continued backing of the club which enabled Machin and colleagues David Hoggart and Eric Boocock to make the decision on turnstile prices.

Co-promoter Hoggart said: "This fits very nicely with the ongoing sponsorship from the Sheffield Window Centre who have done so much to influence our admission policy, it's the best possible news for our customers."

Admission remains at £12 adults, £9 concessions, £5 children aged 12-15... with under-12s FREE.

However, for next Thursday's opening meeting with Elite League champions Coventry at Owlerton there will be a souvenir colour programme produced, priced £2.
