MORRIS READY FOR SHEFFIELD TEST

Tuesday May 05, 2020
WINTER signing Ashley Morris is confident he can hit the ground running for Sheffield.

The West Midlands based racer has fully recovered from wrist damage which saw him miss the second half of the 2019 campaign.

But Morris is eager to make up for lost time and is keen to make his mark at Owlerton in particular.

"Sheffield is a new type of challenge for me," Morris admitted.

"I’ve only ever been there as an away rider and it’s probably one of the hardest tracks to go to as an away rider.

"It’s a big, fast track so keeping momentum is a massive key to winning races and the more track time I get there, the better I’ll get a feel for it.

“It felt really good to get my first laps out of the way earlier in the year though and I came away from there feeling happy with how everything felt."

Morris has provided an exclusive interview for Issue 4 of the club's 'Tiger Talk' season delay magazine.

Also included are current team boss Simon Stead, who reflects on his own final season of racing in 2016, and co-promoter Peter Mole who supplies supporters with a fascinating open and honest insight about the current situation.

There are also picture specials of Owlerton favourites Kyle Howarth and Andre Compton as well as columns from stadium presenter Ryan Guest, social media editor Joe Appleton and TV and radio broadcaster Nigel Pearson.

All this and more is available for just £2.25+p&p online via curtis-sport.com.

Alternatively a covering letter/order form can be posted along with a cheque for £4.00 made payable to CURTIS SPORT LTD to Curtis Sport, Unit 24, Empire Industrial Park, Empire Close, Aldridge, West Midlands, WS9 8UQ.
