TIGERS title winner Josh Grajczonek is relishing his return to the club which is the talk of the sport!

Aussie ace Grajczonek makes a welcome return to Owlerton following the club’s promotion to the Premiership during the winter.

And like everyone else around the sport, he regards the signing of triple World Champion Nicki Pedersen as a huge boost which has got everyone talking about Sheffield.

Grajczonek will race in Todd Kurtz’s testimonial at Owlerton next Thursday as well as the IFS Northern Riders’ Championship – Sheffield’s opening club meeting of the season – the following Thursday, March 26.

He’s hoping for a repeat of his last spell with Sheffield when he played a pivotal role in winning the Championship.

“I’m really pleased to be back with Sheffield and having the club back in the Premiership is an added bonus,” he said.

“It’s a great club and the track is awesome to ride, plus the management are great to get along with.

“Having Nicki (Pedersen) in the side is a huge boost for the city and I’m sure he will quickly settle in and start winning races for Sheffield.

“I always enjoy riding for the club and the support is always top drawer and the fans know their speedway.

“It promises to be an exciting season and hopefully we can bring some success for the hard work the promotion have put in off the track and putting the team together over the winter. The same as my last time here would be nice!”

Sheffield host their press and practice session at Owlerton next Wednesday, March 18, from 6pm and there will be interviews with the team and management in the Panorama Room immediately afterwards.
