THE following message has been issued by the family of Colin North following the tragic accident at Birmingham Wheels Raceway last month:

Thanks to all for your kind comments and support

It has been a very difficult decision but due to the popularity of Colin and the amount of people wishing to attend his funeral it has been decided the funeral will be for family and invited guests only .

Colin lived in a small village with a small church and therefore it would not be practical to have an “open“ funeral. It would be much appreciated if the family’s wishes are adhered to.

Memorial events will be held in the New Year where anyone wishing to pay their respects will be able to do so.
