KYLE Howarth is the first name on Sheffield’s Premiership team sheet for next season.

Howarth, 25, has agreed a deal to go up with the Owlerton side following their promotion which was confirmed at the sport’s AGM last week.

Boss Simon Stead is pleased to keep some continuity in the camp with a host of new signings set to be unveiled in the coming weeks.

Tigers boss Simon Stead said: “Keeping Kyle at the club is the logical thing to do and it gives us some continuity.

“There will be a lot of new faces in the team so it’s nice for us to keep Kyle.

“He’s got plenty of experience at this level and he can do a good job for the team. We are pleased he’s staying with us and I’m sure the fans will be.

“Hopefully he can be injury free throughout the season and play his part in a successful season.”
