NEW SIGNINGS ON SHOW TODAY

SHEFFIELD will have their two new signings on show when they face Edinburgh at Owlerton today (5.30).

Justin Sedgmen will face his former club after leaving the Monarchs to join the Sheffield Window Centre-backed side – and Todd Kurtz makes a welcome return after winning the league title with Tigers two years ago.

But they’ll be without talented youngster Drew Kemp who rides in the European Under 19 Final after winning his semi-final on Friday with a maximum.

Boss Simon Stead said: “Every meeting is an important one from here.

“We know we cannot afford to slip up and we have to make our home meetings count.

“We made the team changes recently very much with the remaining fixtures in mind to see if we can make it.”

The visitors are led by former Australian Champion Sam Masters and include former Sheffield man Ricky Wells as well as the in-form Ben Barker who guests for injured star Cameron Heeps.

It’s kids go free on a fun day out for all the family and gates open at 4pm.
