TIGERS HEAD TO SCOTLAND

Thursday August 08, 2019
RECENT Sheffield signing Justin Sedgmen hopes he can play a key role when they face Edinburgh away on Friday (7.30).

The Australian started the season with the Monarchs before being released after picking up a hand injury in May.

Sedgmen showed some encouraging signs during his debut last weekend at Leicester and is keen to build on those as the Tigers continue their play-off push.

“I had a couple of good rides at Leicester and I felt really good when I was able to get out in front,” Sedgmen said.

“So I’m looking forward to going back to Edinburgh now and hopefully I can have a good one for Sheffield.”

Tigers will be without teenager Drew Kemp who is competing in the European Under-19 Championship.

EDINBURGH: Sam Masters, James Sarjeant, Josh Pickering, Cameron Heeps R/R, Ricky Wells, Connor Coles, William Lawson.
SHEFFIELD: Danny King, Drew Kemp R/R, Justin Sedgmen, Todd Kurtz, Kyle Howarth, Zaine Kennedy, Josh MacDonald.
