SHEFFIELD have made an early decision to postpone today's Championship clash with Newcastle at Owlerton.

Club co-promoter Damien Bates said: "After overnight rain and plenty more forecast throughout the day we believe this is the best decision in the interests of all parties.

"We will announce a new date for the meeting as soon as we agree a date with our friends at Newcastle."
