RACE FOR JACKETS

Thursday June 06, 2019
THERE’S still time to get your hands on Sheffield Tigers' special 90th anniversary racejackets.

The club's commemorative Historic Series is already selling well, with all the seven different jackets race-worn by the Tigers.

Our latest, commemorating the 1930s, was unveiled last Sunday against Scunthorpe - as worn by Danny in our picture - commemorating the Tigers first-ever silverware success in the Division Two National Trophy.

The Tigers will wear the latest, from the 1970s in our next home meeting.

We’ve already sold three complete sets and there are only SEVEN available - and if you want to get hold of an unique collectors item, here's how.

Tigers supporters can either purchase them – as individuals or sets – now or register their interest at the Speedway Office before meetings or by email before they go our for general sale on eBay towards the end of the season.

And Tigers fan Paul Ward has also produced two items of 90th Anniversary memorabilia, a limited edition set of specially comissioned mugs and posters.

Designed and created by Paul, the mugs feature all of the Historic Series of racejackets and also feature the top riders of the decades.
The posters include all of the above and they’re a must for any collector.

All the profits go to the Tigers.

The mugs are £6.99 and the posters £4 and can be ordered from Paul at pwardy@blueyonder.co.uk

Purchases can be collected from Owlerton.
