TIGERS HEAD TO GLASGOW IN KO CUP

Monday May 27, 2019
SHEFFIELD head to Glasgow on Tuesday with the scores tied in their Knockout Cup clash (7.30).

The two met at Owlerton earlier in the month and played out a fascinating contest which ended up 45-45.

And while Glasgow have been in dominant form around their home circuit, Sheffield reserve Zaine Kennedy says he and his team-mates have got what it takes to progress in the competition.
“There are no ifs, buts or maybes – we can definitely go to Glasgow and cause an upset,” Kennedy said.
“If we can make some good starts and all fire at the same time then we can put up a good fight against them and they’ll have to be at their best to beat us.
“We can push them pretty hard because we don’t fear anybody and we want those extra meetings for ourselves and the fans.”

Sheffield have opted to switch captain Kyle Howarth to No.4 to partner Ty Proctor with Drew Kemp at two and Kasper Andersen moving to No.5.

GLASGOW: Craig Cook, James Sarjeant, Rasmus Jensen, Paul Starke, Claus Vissing, Connor Bailey, Kyle Bickley.
SHEFFIELD: Danny King, Drew Kemp, Ty Proctor, Kyle Howarth, Kasper Andersen, Broc Nicol, Zaine Kennedy.
