JOURNEYMAN James Birkinshaw has joined Birmingham for their 2008 Premier League campaign.

The Sheffield rider has joined the Brummies on loan and will be joined by fans’ favourite Lee Smart which means the team is now complete.

Said Birkinshaw: "It's a big season for me and I'm thrilled to be joining Birmingham, it's a great chance for me and I want to thank Graham Drury for giving me the opportunity.”
