SHEFFIELD are preparing to announce their latest signings - and supporters can be present for the official unveiling.

Tigers will be naming two riders, including a brand new No.1, on Wednesday (November 28) and the duo will be introduced to fans in the Panorama Room at Owlerton Stadium.

They will be interviewed by BT Sport commentator Nigel Pearson with team manager Simon Stead and teenage wonderkid Drew Kemp also hopeful of being in attendance.

Co-promoter Damien Bates said: “We can’t wait for supporters to see that we’ve signed these two riders in question.

“As a management team we feel they are both going to bring something extra to the team next year and they are really exciting signings for Sheffield Speedway.

“Team building is coming together really nicely and we’re already looking forward to 2019.

“Drew should be at the stadium on Wednesday for interviews and Steady is also hoping to be there if he feels okay after an operation to get the metal work out of his leg today (Tuesday)."

The event gets underway at 7.30 on Wednesday and admission is £2 on the door. There will also be a raffle with some impressive prizes up for grabs.
