STOKE have signed popular Argentinean rider Emiliano Sanchez on loan from Sheffield.

Sanchez, who has an excellent record at Loomer Road, performed well for Birmingham last term before his season ended with a bad crash in August.

Potters promoter Dave Tattum said: "I tried to sign him last season but he ended up going to Birmingham. I'm pleased that we have succeeded this time, he will give us experience and versatility."
