SHEFFIELD bring the curtain down on their 2018 season with one of the biggest meetings on the domestic calendar today.

The club are once again delighted to be hosting the Championship Riders’ Individual (5pm) featuring top riders from every club in the battle for gold.

Owlerton favourites Charles Wright and Kyle Howarth represent Tigers in a meeting which also features Great Britain World Cup riders Craig Cook and Steve Worrall along with iconic former Grand Prix racer Scott Nicholls and former World Long Track Champion Erik Riss.

Tigers co-promoter Damien Bates said: “It seems strange to be closing our doors for the season so early, but what a way to end the season!

“We are expecting fans from up and down the country for this meeting and I’d urge fans to arrive early to get their usual vantage point.”

A special souvenir programme has been produced for the event with 56 pages featuring interviews, opinion, retro items and British Speedway’s new gossip column ‘Braapchat’.

There is also free face painting for the kids – Tiger faces are a speciality to show support for Wright and Howarth!
