WORKINGTON v TIGERS, PREVIEW
Saturday August 11, 2018
SHEFFIELD boss Simon Stead says his side should show no fear when they travel to Workington tonight (Saturday, 7pm).
Tigers find themselves bottom of the Championship standings following a third home defeat to Redcar on Thursday.
And while recognising Workington’s solidity, Stead is looking for his riders to perform to their capabilities.
“As I’ve said previously, this team is not as bad as recent results suggest,” Stead said.
“But we understand how disappointing and frustrating a season this has turned into, particularly since winning the Pairs at Somerset.
“The boys just need to go to Workington and remind people what they’re made of.
“Yes Workington look a strong side throughout, but it’s also a place that should hold no fear for the team.”
WORKINGTON: Nicolai Klindt, Dan Bewley R/R, Rasmus Jensen, Mason Campton, Ty Proctor, Kyle Bickley, Rene Bach.
SHEFFIELD: Charles Wright, Todd Kurtz, Lasse Bjerre, Broc Nicol, Kyle Howarth, James Shanes, Joe Lawlor.
