SHEFFIELD Tigers have brought together a glittering list of former favourites to celebrate the 2000th speedway meeting at Owlerton Stadium tonight (7.30).

Club legends from different decades will be in attendance - including the 1993 World Champion Sam Ermolenko from the USA.

Sheffield face Scunthorpe in an important Championship clash with the team looking to bounce back from last week's defeat by Lakeside.

Boss Simon Stead said: "My priority is with the team, of course, but I'm also looking forward to catching up with a number of former team mates and club legends from down the years. It's going to be a great night."
