PREVIEW: TOP GUN INDIVIDUAL

Wednesday July 18, 2018
SHEFFIELD welcome some of the brightest and most exciting talents to Owlerton on Thursday when they host the Plumco Top Gun Individual (7.30).

The club have reduced admission in a meeting which will also support ‘Alfie’s Angels’ – a not-for profit organisation which aims to raise awareness of pregnancy and infancy loss.

The fixture will be a 16-rider, 20 heat contest and Tigers co-promoter Damien Bates is looking forward to the event.

“Young riders love being included in meetings like this and doing well in such a strong field gives them a massive confidence boost,” Bates said.

“In meetings like this before we’ve seen some excellent racing and I have no doubt that that will be the case again on Thursday.

“It’s going to be difficult to predict the top three but hopefully the fans turn out in good numbers to not only get behind the youngsters but to also support a good cause in the process.”

Admission is just £13 adults, £11 concessions and children go free. Sheffield season tickets are valid.

LINE-UP: Simon Lambert, Jamie Halder, Danny Phillips, Georgie Wood, James Shanes, Danny Ayres, Tom Woolley, Cooper Riordan, Josh Coyne, Max Ruml, Gino Manzares, Josh McDonald, Kye Thomsen, Kyle Bickley, Joe Lawlor, Zaine Kennedy.
