SHEFFIELD Tigers are making preparations for their exciting Top Gun individual meeting at Owlerton Stadium.

The event is the next home action for the club on Thursday July 19 – the night before the Championship Pairs at Somerset when they’ll be represented by Kyle Howarth and Charles Wright.

Danny Ayres, one of the sport’s genuine showmen, is the latest name to be added to the line-up which also include Argentinian ace Coty Garcia, British sensation Kyle Bickley, Aussie ace Josh Coyne and Sheffield’s own James Shanes.

Admission has been slashed for the event in a bid to attract a bumper crowd. Adults will be £13, £11 concessions and kids go free.

Sheffield Window Centre Tigers co-promoter Damien Bates said: “We’re working hard to put together a good line-up for the Top Gun.

“We’re sure it will be an entertaining night of racing and we hope the admission prices will be attractive for fans to come along and enjoy a great night out. We can also confirm season tickets do apply.”

Meanwhile Howarth is set to make a return to the saddle when Tigers head to Lakeside on Friday.

He’s been out since last month after dislocating his shoulder in a crash at Newcastle.

A full preview will be issued nearer the time.
