Thursday June 28, 2018
SPEEDWAY fans have no excuse to miss out on tonight's big Knockout Cup clash between Sheffield and Scunthorpe at Owlerton (7.30).

Tigers bosses have confirmed England's final group game against Belgium in the World Cup will be shown in the Panorama Room and restaurant.

Co-promoter Damien Bates said: "It's a feast of sport tonight and with the weather so good right now we are expecting a terrific night of entertainment.

"Obviously we all want to see England do well at the World Cup and that's why we've arranged to have the game shown at the stadium. A race lasts one minute so those keen to watch England can do both sports by coming to Owlerton.

"We need our fans to get right behind us as we would love to put one over Scunthorpe but we know it will be tough."

SHEFFIELD: Ty Proctor, Todd Kurtz, Lasse Bjerre, Broc Nicol, Charles Wright, Georgie Wood, James Shanes.

SCUNTHORPE: Steve Worrall R/R, Dimitri Berge, Josh Auty, Jake Allen, Jason Garrity, Danny Phillips, Gino Manzares.
