SHEFFIELD co-promoter Damien Bates wants his side to increase the intensity as they head to Berwick in the Championship on Saturday (7pm).
Tigers have managed just one point from two league outings so far in what has been a tough start to the defence of their second tier crown.
But Bates is confident a first league win isn’t too far away.
“It’s fair to say we haven’t had the best start although there have been mitigating circumstances,” Bates said.
“But with Jan (Graversen) in and getting up to speed and Kyle (Howarth) having got over his injury then we can start looking at increasing the intensity.
“We need to get something from Berwick to prevent us falling behind.”
Sheffield Window Centre Tigers reserve Jack Smith misses the trip to Shielfield Park after picking up a knock during his Premiership outings with Swindon, Joe Lawlor steps in at short notice.
