SIMON Stead is delighted to announce the prize of a brand new GM engine for the winner of his farewell meeting on Sunday (4pm).

GM Engines and Ashley Holloway, one of the top engine tuners and a great friend of Stead, have teamed up to offer the impressive prize.

With a star-studded field there is set to be some exciting racing to get the new season underway at Owlerton and pay tribute to a modern day Tigers’ legend.

“I just want to thank Ash and GM for making this possible, Stead said.

“It’s a wonderful prize for the winner and it’s very much appreciated.

“I just want to thank all the riders that are turning out, the Sheffield promotion and everyone behind the scenes for making it possible and of course the fans who are planning on coming along.
