FAN favourites Kyle Howarth and Josh Bates have been added to the impressive line-up to celebrate Tigers icon Simon Stead’s glittering career next month.

The duo, who played a major role in Sheffield’s Championship glory last season, have agreed to race in the showpiece event at Owlerton on Sunday March 25 (4pm).

And that means they’ll be racing against World Champion Jason Doyle, Slovakian Grand Prix star Martin Vaculik and international duo Hans Andersen and Jacob Thorssell.

Said Stead: “I’ve got to include Kyle and Josh because they are true entertainers. Sometimes as a team manager I wish they would ride in a more easy, simple way but they always give it everything they’ve got on the bike and the fans love them.

“They’re great additions to my meeting and I know they’ll be getting stuck in, they won’t mind the fact they are up against the best riders in the world because they’ll see it as a challenge.”
