POLISH DEALS FOR TIGERS DUO

Thursday November 16, 2017
TWO of Tigers’ title heroes have landed Polish contracts for 2018.

Josh Grajczonek, who proved to be a stunning signing at the top end of the Sheffield side, will race for Lodz.

And Kyle Howarth will continue his impressive rise up the sporting ladder with a place in the Stal Rzeszow squad.

It’s good news for both riders with Tigers bosses still hoping to keep as many of the championship side as possible.

Co-promoter Damien Bates said: “It’s a true sign our lads are getting noticed with news like this.

“Both were very impressive in what was a brilliant season for us and I congratulate them both on getting places in Poland.

“Naturally we want to keep them at Sheffield too, but we will be making more progress on team building after this weekend’s AGM.

Meanwhile ‘Barnsley Bullet’ Josh Bates has launched a revamped social media service to improve his professional image.

Bates will be working closely with a leading sports media organisation with expertise in speedway.

His twitter account is @josh96bates and the new facebook page is Josh Bates Speedway Racing – a new website and the possibility of merchandise is also in the pipeline for the youngster.
