TIGERS skipper Andre Compton was left deflated by the 51-42 win over Rye House in the Premier League Grand Final first leg - but has vowed to battle until the end in the second leg at Hoddesdon on Saturday.
"We needed a solid all-round performance from the entire team and we didn't get that," he said.
"Full credit to Rye House, they came here to do a job and they did it superbly. Every member of their team showed great determination, some teams come here with fear and yet Rye House were full of determination.
"Perhaps the win against King's Lynn put too many people in the comfort zone. I got a slight feeling before the meeting that too many people thought the job was done after beating King's Lynn."
