SHEFFIELD go into their penultimate Premier League meeting of the season knowing nothing less than maximum points will do against Workington at Owlerton tonight (7.45).
After a superb - and vital - away win over Newport at the weekend, the Sheffield Window Centre-backed Tigers are close to reaching their target of a top four slot and a place in the play-offs to decide the league champions.
They need to beat their Cumbrian visitors by more than eight-points for the aggregate bonus point - and that would probably kill off any lingering hopes of the play-offs for Workington.
Birmingham's Ben Powell once again deputises for the injured James Birkinshaw at reserve after doing such a good job at Newport.
Sheffield owner Neil Machin said: "The boys have worked hard to get this far and they don't want to throw it all away with a silly mistake at home. It's a big meeting and we're expecting a big turnout."
Once again children aged 12 and under will be admitted free thanks to the support of Sheffield Window Centre.
TIGERS: Ricky Ashworth, Ben Wilson, Andre Compton, Paul Cooper, Joel Parsons, Ben Powell, James Cockle. WORKINGTON: Kauko Nieminen, Matia Carpanese R/R, James Wright, Craig Branney, Ulrich Ostergaard, Charles Wright, John Branney.
